Under European legislation, new rules have been introduced specifically aimed at platform workers who work via a platform or app, such as Charly Cares. According to these new rules, known as the DAC7 legislation, it is essential that the income you earn through our platform is visible to the Tax Authorities. This means we must report certain information, such as your Citizen Service Number (BSN) and payments processed via the platform. This allows you to work within the legal framework and continue your work with peace of mind.
To comply with the legislation, we are required as a platform to report all registered payments processed through our system. This includes payments made via Direct Debit and iDEAL.
Good to know: payments that take place outside the platform, such as cash payments or payments via Tikkie, are not included in the report to the Tax Authorities.
